TGIF and Another Contest

Stop by and check out another contest, for a knitting fiction give-away!

Thank goodness it’s Friday, and scrap night Friday at that.  I think I’m going to scrap my holiday cards tonight.  I also hope that tomorrow will bring a big finished object.  The Knight has duty crew tonight AND tomorrow night, so I’ll be hanging out with the dogs and knitting a lot.

And folks?  I’m bored.  It will take me about 30 minutes to eat breakfast and do payroll, and then I’m done for the day, other than answering phones.  Update your own blogs, email me, SOMETHING.  Sissy’s getting a new collar, so ordering that will take, oh… two minutes, but I need to be entertained!  Thanks in advance for helping a sista out.

  1. All I’ve got is a hat. I wanted to be felting last night, but while M was out at a Men’s Bible study, 2 decided to wait up for him…’til 10:20. There went my felting. You know what…I an so thrilled with the how I felt about taking time to think about myself…for the collage…you should do one. Maybe just start grabbing photos of the dogs and bits of yarn…and stuff about the firehouse. You could always scrap it later since you’re a ’scrapper’. Here’s mine. http://dayinthelifeof531.blogspot.com/2008/02/my-life-as-i-see-it.html That just may entertain you today =0)

  2. OK, well, you can drive up to NH and come work with me (though who are we kidding – we wouldn’t get anything done!)…

I’m taking my morning break… will be on for 15…

  3. Checking in- sorry about the boredom. I like to find web-sites with things I don’t know- maybe like paperfolding or some origami something. Center yourself and look at Mandalas!

  4. Order your print! :-) And some Beagle Bagels from Three Dog Bakery, lol

Its snowing here… again… and I’ll be on the road the rest of the day so I can’t email, sorry! :(

  5. Hey, find me a job where I can get paid to spend most of the day e-mailing or crocheting or whatever. I can always find something to do, and gee, a paycheck to go along with that. Wow!

    How about starting your novel?

  6. I don’t have any big ideas to entertain you, but I am home for the morning. So can chat a bit over email :) I’m stealng your PIF idea as I have one recepient I had no idea what to do for. I’m making needle rolls for the other two and a bunch of other stuff, but I picked up a soft off-white shibui sock yarn to make a shawl for the third. Great idea – do you mind if I steal it? Speak now . . . .

  7. Thanks for the mention in your post! I’ll add your name twice on my drawing. Good luck!!

  8. So that’s why you’re emailing me back so quick. ROTFL

  9. You mean bored like bored? In the six hours I worked today I had about 20 patients. As I need to treat three of them for about an hour (lymphdrainage) you can calculate for yourself how much time I had for most of them. And now I am about dead. I have my feet up and wait until a reasonable time comes for me to say Good Night to the world. No art for me tonight. But I had nothings against a nice chat with you.

  10. I didn’t know you were bored today, I would of kept you company, you have kept me busy. Placing orders and such.

  11. hope you managed to find things to keep yourself entertained yesterday. that’s what ravelry is for, isn’t it? i cruised patterns for about an hour last night while the kids watched tv. i could loose myself in there!
