i don’t like to knit with boucle either, but YES – you can see the difference. and the wrap is going to be gorgeous.

I couldn’t see it so much on the first pic, but it does show up more at a distance. Adds a bit of visual texture. How’s that for a technical description??

I’ve not knit with boucle yet, but I have two gorgeous balls of it that a friend gave me, and I’m not sure what to make with them. They both have a “companion” ball as well.

Well call me dumb, but I couldn’t tell a difference!..lol I hate boucle, its even hard to crochet with sometimes.
Glad all your packages got out and received! Thats always a good feeling!

Chan…you outdid your self on the PIF. The wraps for your friends are gorgeous. I’m sure it warms your heart to know they are smiling.

I couldn’t tell the difference with the boucle in the 1st photo…but I can definitely tell in the 2nd. It looks good. =0)

I can tell, where the boucle is, and if you don’t like it, will it make a difference if you don’t use it? knitting is supposed to be happy. Ohh..I’ve got Wrapped in Comfort on my I want list on Amazon. Can’t wait to hear what you think! Love the color of the malabrigo lace! Do you want to knit a wrap or a scarf? I think the Morning Surf Scarf (on Ravelry) would be lovely. That is wonderful you’ve finished your PIF! I’ve got one project done, 2 more to go!

I can see it, but then again, I know what I’m looking for. The colors are pretty similar, so if it’s being that big a pain in the butt…

You can tell if you look really hard – the colors are lovely. I’m sorry you don’t enjoy the yarn. That certainly makes knitting with it that much more of a pain. Hope you find something that works better for you.
