Since we’re on the shore, I’d fly the house flag upside down because I’m in some serious distress here.  No, no, the Knight’s being a saint, and even tried to get Sissy to go outside with him to let me sleep in, but *MY GIRL* would have none of that.  Sissy’s being funny and cute, and calmer than I’d have thought for a dog who has lost her free to run about the woods liberties here in OBX.

WordPress is the cause of my consternation.  Send help.  Seriously.  It says I’m all out of free photo storage, and wants what I consider an insane about money for a short-term (a few months) solution.  What’s a tech-idiot blogger to do?

Without photos, I can tell you the weather took a turn for the beautiful.  All the seasonal places we can’t frequent as non-peak visitors are open, so that’s cool.  We’ve only had a problem with crowds at the pizza place that was the Knight’s first choice last night.  (Any OBX regulars have an awesome, year-round pizza shop to share?)

We also have added The Tale of the Wale  to our musteattherewhileintown list.  Several regular visitors to these parts had recommended it, and we finally got there Saturday night.  The fried oysters were fresh and perfect.  The salads were great, and the dressings must have been homemade; my bleu cheese was the best I’ve ever had, and the Knight’s honey mustard was beyond compare too.  The bread was delightful too.

There are great photos to share, so Sissy’s play date at the ocean will have to wait for a solution to my storage problem.  I sure hope y’all have some options.  I don’t mind paying for service, but it has to be reasonable.  Seems to impact my “categories” list too, for some reason.

Huh. My photos are on Picasa, I didn’t even know WordPress had photo storage. Shows you what I know. (It also means I have to crop huge amounts out of my photos to get WordPress to take them.)

I’m glad the weather has turned nice! Enjoy the rest of your time at the beach. Sorry, I don’t know much about the photo storage options. Maybe you could try reducing the size of the photo before uploading it to WordPress?

What about Flickr? You can get a free account there, although I pay the nominal fee for the extra storage… its not a bad price and I know I can store a tun there.

I use Flickr. It’s really easy and works just as well. 🙂

I’m on blogger and it’s free and everything I do is free, practically. Except, I recently had to buy an annual Flickr upgrade because I hit 200 photos and my old faves were disappearing.

Glad your weather turned. Been thinking about you! I use blogger, but store my pics on my PC. although I recently upgraded my flickr account to store more (to work with Ravelry) I think I might store more there, now. I am OK with blogger. when I use it..that is.
