Catching Up

I’m still two posts behind from last week, so we don’t have to talk about the sock I didn’t touch over the weekend.  I just can’t put Gaia down!

Since I was one of the last to get my Loopy Ewe Sock Club kit this time, I don’t think spoiler warnings are necessary, but on the off chance you’re deeper in podunkville than I am, look away before the next photo.

There are the goodies.  Left to right, you have another great project bag, cute note cards, the pattern and more Wollmeise.

This yarn just proves my theory that if you’re generous and give freely, it comes back to you in spades.   As I petted the Wollmeise I gifted Jessi for her birthday good-bye, I did so strongly suspecting that it was about time for some to show up in the TLE sock club.   Yum-o!!!!!!

How was your weekend?  You already know about mine, so fill me in!

Very pretty yarn. Lovely really. Now knit it!

My weekend was quiet – there was knitting, dorset button making, and sewing 🙂 It’s all good. g

  2. Love the new sock wool!! I had a nice weekend. Just the right amount of business. If I had had the sense to bring my camera to the The Stroll Through History, I could be blogging it!

That yarn really does look good enough to eat. It reminds me of blueberries, raspberries and of course chocolate. Gorgeous color combination.

We were busy all weekend and I don’t have anything to show for it. How does that happen?

Pizza dinner on Friday. Movie after the kids were in bed. Build-a-Bear party @ Downtown Disney on Saturday. Work. Church. Friend from Calgary for dinner on Sunday. FUN! And M. even cleaned up the house while I was at the party.

Oh…and I have yet to see some Wollmeise in person. I do love that color combo you got…perfect jewel tones for your fall/winter wardrobe.

Weekend was just fine-no work. Off today. I am glad you are liking Gaia because I am just dieing to start mine. I’m not sure I’ll be able to hold off long enough to finish Herbivore.

Isn’t it delicious? 🙂 The pretty blue you gifted me gets petted all the time. I’m trying to make it last as long as I can, though. lol

Just checked out the pictures of your Gaia. Beautiful!

I was sewing this weekend. A lot. At least, I was in my plans. Then it was dark and rainy and cold. Then the little boys got a cold from Patrick, whose butt I offered to kick for him bringing home “swine flu”, after he bends down so I can reach him. Then my pie took over my life. 3 pies, 2 little tarts and a coffee cake later, everyone else was in sugar coma, and I sat in my corner with a book. Enjoy your yarn!

Oh that yarn is drop dead gorgeous. And I’ve just added your Gaia to my growing list of things I want to knit before I die! My weekend was blissfully uneventful . . . . just how I like them :-).

Lovely new yarn!! How many trees did you lose this weekend? 🙂

I really like the Wollmeise in this club package. The colors are saturated and lovely. The note cards were a nice touch, and you know what a bag ho I am, so I really appreciated that! 🙂

This weekend was good – Six Flags with the kids on Saturday, the Fall picnic at Grymes on Sunday. I’m still recovering…

Unfortunately this week is going to be spent at the virus cloud.
