Welcome Back Flickr

Thank you, Flickr ghosts in the machine, for allowing me to see my own photos again, even in the larger sizes.   I maintain it was Flickr’s problem, not mine…

Girls, meet Poppet

Just a little catch-up here, now that harmony has been restored in my bloggy world.

I had the BEST weekend.  I read a bunch of books; I’m now on #6 of the Melanie Travis Mysteries.   I didn’t knit the first stitch, although I did carry my hooded scarf around with me, just in case.  I did ply and soak my Gypsyknits BFL, and I started spinning my Gnomespun.   (That Polwarth is a DREAM, I tell you…)

How was your weekend?  What’s your week look like?

From July, but still...

My week looks like that.  The cat’s away, so the mice will play!  Gretchen bounced right up in the car this morning like she’s always loved a ride.  Hopefully, that means she’ll weather the beach commute without incident.

Please pop over to Dogs n MoreSue has a series of holiday ideas for pets going.   Don’t tell the Knight, but the girls have winter all-weather coats on the way, thanks to a gentle nudge from Sue!

Who says you can’t go shopping with online friends?

Hello! Watch out for #6!! I knit – finished a pair of sock, and am close to finishing another and working on Holiday Stocking #1.

We are vacationing (as you know) this week and this morning we loaded up dogs, delivered a long over-due baby present and took the houndies to the off-leash park for about 45 minutes of unning. Now I have 4 snoring houndies.

I about to inventory the freezer and figure out what I’m cooking this week – then do some shopping, bread dough prepping, and sewing. I have ideas for new clothing! g

We’re just gearing up for Thanksgiving, but nothing much other than that. 🙂 Glad Flickr is acting right again!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you at Chez Chan Knits. May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving! Milo, DH, The Deputy and I send our best.

Little dogs like yours need warmer coats. Thor just needs a furnace and electricity. He has explained this to me. Our week is more homecomings on Tuesday and Wednesday and plenty of cooking. Cass, Jeff and Patrick are out picking up odd supplies even now. Kellie, ever industrious, called Friendly’s and is working 3 days this week. Glad Gretchen’s hopping into the car like a big girl! I’m sure they’re really helpful in the office. (Thor’s snoring right outside my office door, but that’s not helpful. It makes me want to take a nap.) And hooray for getting Flickr straightened out!

I got up this morning realizing I really wished I had just taken 3 vacation days this week… and stayed home, knitting… sigh.

I’m glad you are friends with Flickr again! So cute to see the girls snuggled together. I’ll ride in the back with them 🙂

Hooded scarf? That sounds cute and practical!

I had a hooded scarf when I was a little girl and I hated it. Now I think I’ll make myself one, it sounds wonderful and warm.

I was happy to go shopping with you. The girls should look sweet in their matching winter jackets. Bring on the snow.

I have just been working on my holiday knits…. and working on December’s lesson plan for work.

Sorry I won’t make it for thanksgiving.. I just don’t think I could handle sitting in the car for an entire day, without the option to knit! lol I will try to come visit on a less highly trafficked holiday 🙂 (as long as that’s ok with you!)

Hope you have a great week!
