Christmas Day 2007 - Sissy, me, Mugsy
I’ve said over and over that I’ve been truly blessed with exceptional dogs in my life, from Mopsy – the buff cocker my parents had when I was born – right on through the current fur-girls. Add in my horses, fish, rabbits and cats, and I’ve said good-bye far too often to devoted pets who brightened my life.
Sue and I want to honor all of our gone but not forgotten pets later this month on our Dogs n More blog. Please follow the link for more information, and/or send Sue or me a photo and information on your special memorials.

The love makes the loss worth the grief.
that’s a great photo of you and the pups. 🙂 Happy Holidays. g
AWE How cute….
We must grieve in order to enjoy the fullness of life with a pet. Thor is our third mastiff, and every day I’m happy that he’s still with us at his advanced age!
That is so wonderful. I’m sending you something!
I agree with Alison…the love we get makes it worthwhile. I’ll be sure to send you a Bonnie photo.
I’ve had so many dogs, cats, gerbils, rabbits and heaven knows what else I couldn’t begin remember them all. The dog we had the longest was Tuffy, a Yorkie. He’s long gone but we all loved him so much. Will try to dig up a photo of him.
I am so glad you and Sue are doing this wonderful tribute. However, I foresee a full week of bawling my eyes out! Thank you for including us. Wonderful!
Sissy was such a cute little pup. I think we’re getting a good response so far and we won’t make it sad. There should be lots of funny stories, too.
Very good idea. Love seeing pictures of Mugsy and Fred. Miss those boys.
Awww. Sad to think of these things. Alex was like a child for us. Passed in 2001.
My first cat Gato passed when I was 11 yrs old I still remember the difficult sadness that I went threw.((((Hugging You)))) Darcy
Love that shot of you with the kids – esp with the bone in Mugs’ mouth! 🙂
Awww, I love those photos! Is the Dogs thing for everyone? I’ll send you a photo of Harley & Theo, or are you including cats? SNOL
