As a general rule, time flies. However, this week has DRAGGED on, even with Amy‘s fun visit yesterday. (Do see her post for cute sheep and more…) Nevertheless, it IS Friday, and the weekend will not be a wash-out!
Some of you will be disappointed to learn that I don’t have any fibery goodness to share. However, I do have a couple of little finds to mention.
I can’t tell you how much I love this design! It’s a notecard by Take It Personally. Do poke around her site… I see lots of other cards I’d love to have…
I also couldn’t resist these millefiore stitch markers. If I haven’t mentioned it before, I am always drawn to millefiore glass. I believe these were made by a Stony Mountain Fibers employee… They’re definitely larger than life on my monitor, but I wanted you to be able to see the millefiore!
What do you have planned for your weekend? We’re looking forward to time with the Knight’s brother and his family, and I plan to get some knitting done, and I think it’s about time to try again to bond with my spindle…
I love that notecard and while I haven’t blogged yet – that was exactly the title I had in mind. Great minds . . . .

Card and supplier noted!
Very cute card and pretty stitch markers. I wish I could say I was going to spend the weekend being creative, but I hope to spend a major portion sleeping. Haven’t been sleeping well for several nights and I need to catch up.
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE that design!!!!!!!!!!!!
The stitch markers are gorgeous!
I’ll have to remember those notecards – very cute!
Pretty stitch markers! Sewing this weekend, I think, and maybe my first trip to a store since last August (other than a pharmacy), to get Easter candy to send to my law school daughter in Laramie. Put the trickle charger on the old Lincoln and get it ready for spring, and, did I say sewing? Yeah, a car girl who sews. Odd. Have fun with the Knight and the girls!
Love the note card and markers very lovely.
Jaw still healing going to clean the house this weekend and maybe sneak in a little needle felting time knitted something this past week but cant post about it until the 1st.
I need to start blogging again I know I have been very quiet since my jaw surgery.((((Hugs)))) Darcy
Ummm, not doing the pile of dirty dishes? Hubband said as we were leaving the ER, “Well, maybe we will need to hire someone to come in and wash the dishes.” Funny man.
I think I might be able to knit though; we shall find out soon!
The boys & M headed to Lake Havasu with a friend. It will be a great girls weekend here.
Knitting tonight with NCAA tourney watching. My son is home for break for a few more days! Stuffing him with good foods from home and the area…
Happy Friday, Channon! I thought I was the only one who seemed to blink and have the time whiz by.
I don’t know what stitch markers are but I sure do love anything millefiore. (the pastry too:)
And, the note cards are just darling. I will definitely check those out.
I may be going to an auction this weekend. It all depends on whether I decide to bake up a Black Forest Cake for National Black Forest Cake Day on Sunday. Have a glorious weekend.
Thanks for sharing…
Oh, those stitch markers are yummy. Off to check out the notecards now…
Cute cards n stich markers. Plans? People plan for the weekend? Such a concept! I may have to give it a try. DH and the youngest went to Master’s for View weekend, while Jerm, the dogs and I are holding the fort.
The little stitch markers are lovely. The note card is nice too. I like the simplicity.
Your goodies are nice and I do hope you become friends with your spindle this week 🙂
OK, see, this is why I need to move down south so I can meet up with you all more often!
Love the stitch markers!
Mmm…I see lots of laundry in my future. Didn’t feel like doing anything today, so I completely ignored the huge piles of it littering the bedroom. ::sigh::
Love the markers, btw!
The notecard is adorable, Chan!
Quiet weekend here except aerobics. And I went on that flat belly diet. 😦
Will I ever have a flat belly again???
Card, so lovely! I love love love it!
I hope you had a great weekend!
Pretty stitch markers. 🙂 I still can’t believe you got out of there with no fiber! You have WAY more willpower than I do. LOL
