R-cubed

That’s what I have planned for my weeked – the three Rs…

Rest, relaxation and retail therapy.

It’s been a long, full week.  The fur-girls aren’t particularly happy about all the time we’ve spent away from them, but you can read about that for yourself on their blog

I’m hoping to spend some time knitting too.  That’s the cashmere scarf I’ve started.  One repeat down and 21 to go!

I also owe the fur-girls lots of snuggels and play time, so that’s on the agenda too.  What’s on your weekend agenda?

Daughter leaving for Laramie. Dan leaving for Charlotte; be sure to wave on Sunday! Maybe some sunshine so we can plant, and maybe I’ll just use prestarted tomato plants this year, at least for some of them. G sent me a magazine with a dress I “need” to make, and I ought to get some red for Thor to join in Sue’s party. That’s a real list, and I haven’t even planned to leave the compound!

Love your cashmere scarf; that will be really pretty.

love the knitting! I’ve started working on the gray alpaca garter stitch cardi again. Only this time I’m making it up as I go along. using math and gauge.

Some dog walking, some sewing, basic housekeeping. g

Noah is coming along really well with his rally training so we’ll do some of that. I have ten dogs that could use baths, so maybe one or two this weekend. The rescue group is looking for a driver on Saturday to help six Chihuahuas get to a safe place, so maybe we’ll get involved in that.

So far, it looks nice. Oddly, I have been kind of itching to do some lace . . . I think you may have pushed me over the edge. I’ll have to figure something out this weekend to start. 🙂

Raptors R Us. I’m going to be a birdbrain all weekend! (No fledges yet, although a few near misses. And that boy LOVES to chase down the ledge and bump a parent off and watch them having to fly!)
