Help Whip Cancer

I’ve had in the back of my mind that I wanted to do a contest this month.  October is full of important dates for our little corner of the woods, and it also happens to be breast cancer awareness month, which means Pampered Chef is offering their Help Whip Cancer pink products online.  Since I’m blessed to have a nice assortment of readers, I struggled briefly over what to offer as a prize.

Daisy dessert plates, photo borrowed from Pampered Chef

I’m crazy for these daisy dessert plates, and the pink flowers are unobtrusive enough that if you’re not crazy about pink they won’t shout at you.  However, if the winner REALLY doesn’t care for the plates, she can opt for a $20 Pampered Chef credit.

How do you enter?  Simple.  Leave a comment sharing your favorite Pampered Chef product.  If you’re not already a Pampered Chef customer, you can take a gander at the products here.    (And yes, you can place an individual order from there too if you see something you can’t live without.)

Lilly Pulitzer Limited Edition Breast Cancer Awareness Murfee Scarf

Want a second entry?  Share another product whose proceeds benefit any non-profit.  You must provide a working link to said product, just in case the rest of us care to shop!

There are no extra entries for sharing the contest here or through social media, but for every 20 additional entries, I’ll give another prize.  (So at 21, the second prize is added, 41, the third, etc.)

The deadline for entering is midnight US Eastern time October 24th – Sissy’s birthday – and the winners (I have faith in you!) will be announced on October 25th, our 13th wedding anniversary.

Well you know I adore my polka spotted pasta bowls. In fact I was heartbroken that 3 of them were in the dishwasher last night so I couldn’t have my spaghetti in one! I also use my baker alot. I’m actually amazed at home much I use it.

But those square green plates with Daisies – I might have to risk having JB get rid of some of my dishes and order them. I think I HAVE to have them. 🙂 g

I like those plates! I’m with G. I might HAVE to have them!

And Sissy shares my birthday! How nice! (I made a pink dress for my birthday. Does that get me extra points?) And Happy 13th anniversary a few days early.

That garlic press–I love it! As runners, our usual Friday night meal is pasta before the Saturday long run. Almost every pasta recipe I make uses garlic. So I use this thing just about every Friday night!

Got to look into that Lily Pulitzer scarf too.

  4. My absolute favorite item is the mini tart shaper, it is well used and would be sorely missed if it disappeared. and here is my link to the Warrior in Pink scarves brought to us by Ford!

I’ve always drooled over Pampered Chef … what awesome products. My favorite would have to be my large stone – for baking bread and pizza. It is a life saver!

Hands down, my favorite PC item is my stoneware bread pans. (But I bet you knew that…..)

I’m afraid I hadn’t heard of Pampered Chef before I started blogging and met all of you. I think a lot of their pink products are really neat, the bowls and the towels and even the gloves. makes adorable sock dogs and sells them at
10% of the proceeds go to the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, a no kill shelter.

Only one??? I love my stoneware, garlic press, spatulas etc… But, I can’t live without my mini serving spatula’s. I use them all the time.

Although I’ve heard of The Pampered Chef, I don’t own anything from them. I’m not much of a baker, or cook, for that matter 🙂 However, those daisy plates are adorable! I also like the Pink Bar Board and Knife.

Moderncat Studio sells treats & toys for cats on Etsy. Every month 5% of the gross sales for that month
is donated to a different cat-related charity.

  12. That’s easy – it is my baking stone Bundt pan! I love that thing… before I got it, I had soo many messed up Bundt-ish cakes (where you have to glue the doggone thing together with icing?) but not anymore. I also love the other baking stone products that Pampered Chef offers and from the entries above, it looks like I am not alone!

My favorite PC product – the pizza cutter; hands down. No, maybe it’s the wire cookie rack (stackable) or perhaps the whisk. It’s too hard to choose!

As for a link, will this one work?

What a thoughtful and perfect contest. Those plates are dainty and very pretty.

My favorite(s): well there are quite a few as the products are a must-have in any kitchen.
I use my batter bowls almost everyday for pancakes, gravy, baking etc.
The measure-all is another can’t-do-without product in this household.
Good luck to all the contestants :).

My favorite is the stone pie plate, I use it all of the time. I also like the skinny spatula.

  16. I will need to think about this for a bit. I just received my pink ribbon-topped cake testers. I DO like the plates….and a bunch of the Holiday Specials…and the 3-tier thingy, and…You get the idea!

  17. Bubblesknits says:

The original white carafe that Pampered Chef carried (I don’t see it there now….did they replace it with the shiny metal one?) is our all time favorite. Dr. Tooth swears it stays hot longer than any other carafe he’s had.

As for another product, my mind is currently drawing a big ole blank. I’ll have to come back with one. =)

My absolute favorite Pampered Chef item is the little flour/sugar shaker! It is so adorable, and very handy, too!

  20. Bonnie says:

I like so many PC items (I think I have them all!) The items I reach for most are the garlic press and chopper. I used my mini serving spatula all the time and love the stoneware. OH! And I have many of the white serving pieces.

  21. Mary says:

I love anything Pampered Chef. My latest favorites are my baking stone and my oil spritzer, but I also love, Love, LOVE my silicone basting brush, apple slicer, cooking utensils…guess that falls under anything PC!

  22. Barbara says:

I’m in love with those little square dishes, Chan! Pampered Chef products are great.

I am not a knitter but I often read your blog to keep up with the four legged girls. My favorite PC product is a toss up between the ice cream scoop (definitely Pissy’s favorite because he uses it every night)and my large stone for baking pizza

  25. Fierce Angel says:

the crinkle cutter, veggies seem to taste better when they are crinkley.

I really have intended to do a whole PC blog post someday as most of my kitchen it PC. My favorites are many! I use the stoneware bar pan so often, I store it in my oven. I used to have 2, but someone dropped one a bit hard in the sink and it cracked and broke. I use my small, med., and large scoops all the time. That’s how I am sure about how much I’m serving my littles…I use scoops for their meals and then they can always have 2nds, but I know that they just have at least had a portion. I have the utensils spinner (is that what it’s called?) in black and I have our basic school supplies in there on the middle of the table. (colored pencils, scissors, glue stick, etc.) I also love my triffle bowl, especially because the stand on the bottom is removable. And I use the stoneware deep dish pie pan for all my pot pies. I use the crinkle cutter for my veggies. I use the scrappers (?) to lift and toss the chopped veggies in the pot. I also love the salad dressing container and the juice picture (but I think you don’t have that anymore). I love Pampered Chef! Can you tell?!
