The Coast is Clear!

November 2010 003

The fur-girls sporting their all-purpose emergency gear 11-10

Well…  I hope the coast will be clear in a couple of hours anyway.  We’re not on the most eastern edge of Virginia, but all three of our watches and warnings have been lifted.   Not all of the east coast has fared so well, but we’re grateful.

Thanks for the prayers and good wishes… and for reminding me that today is after all, the first day of hurricane season.

Don’t worry; the dogs even got a walk between storms.  We didn’t even need our slickers, but I had them with us anyway.

Oh my gosh they are the cutest fur-babies in their rain slickers and hats!! Two of the most fashionable pups in the world!

So glad to hear about the all clear. It is always easier to sleep without the weather radio on. Hope the calm weather holds!

Safe and sound up here, too. Had a funnel sighting in my rear view mirror as I was leaving DC from work, but managed to stay ahead of the storm and get home. Only had to drive through some downpours though it took me about an hour and 45 minutes to get there. Worst of it stayed west of us, but tornado watch was extended until 2 am.

Good news! Keep a watch on that weather so the dogs don’t cause you to get “caught out” in anything nasty.
