Jailbird is free

photo.JPGHappy Thorsday, little friday, thankful thursday and busy day to you!  For those who read the fur-girl’s blog as well, I apologize for the duplicate photo, but it just cracks me up.  That’s one of the Old Navy onesies she’s sporting, and she was content enough she was dozing off during the photo shoot.

Thankful?  Obviously I’m grateful beyond words that Gretchen Greer is back to normal.  There’s still a little bit of physical healing and we don’t yet know how much psychological damage was done, but the girl thinks she’s 100% and indications are she’s not far from it.  We truly appreciate each and every good vibe, thought, prayer, etc. and we’re in awe of all of you who care about the general well-being of our dogs.

It’s a busy time around here, so pardon the brief posts.  What are you thankful for today?

A sunny day! A rockin’ suit (that I made myself!). A supportive husband. A great little local mexican restaurant with a wonderful owner who sat and chatted with us last night about animals and then gave JB a spur keyring.

And that all the dogs are healthy! That’s good and enough – right? g

Hey, Gg you are lovely in those jailhouse stripes!

Today, I am grateful for good friends and knitting buddies, as they make my life so enjoyable. Heavy, heavy snow predicted for tomorrow and through the weekend, so I’ll have lots of time indoors to knit, sew, and be lazy. I’m looking forward to it.

I love the striped onesie! What a great picture 🙂 I’m so glad Gretchen is feeling back to normal.

Onesies are great for dressing babies, so why not baby-sized dogs? She’s looking pretty perky there. Stay warm, if you get snow out of the storm that’s moving up the coast.

Now she needs a tiny orange jumpsuit to add to the wardrobe. We thankful that your dogs and our dogs are all well.

I would make her wear a oneise every now and then just to keep the terrier humble!!!! 😉

She is so cute!! It doesn’t take much to make me thankful. Today I am thankful for tax software that actually works without hours of waiting for tech support. I’m in heaven!!

Oh gosh, I’ve been so self absorbed lately preping for trial and then settling the case and now preparing settlement docs that I’m just now catching up on Gretchen’s bite!!! She looks as cute as a button in her stripy suit and really well and I know how that must be a relief for you. Dog bites are notoriously filed with bacteria and prone to infection so a huge relief she’s doing well. I’m also glad you patched things up with the neighbors – you don’t want any bad feelings and accidents happen. Have a nice weekend, Channon xoxo

  15. Thankful for Friday! Only one student, so done early with “work”. Then a visit with a friend, a little rest, and then…sigh…homework!
