Be Still…

… my heart.

Is there anything on earth more beautiful?  (I know, your children, your dogs… it’s all good.)

Just so you know, each girl is watching a different critter in the woods.  Sis doesn’t know she isn’t a sight hound, and I won’t tell her until she hits 45 or so and needs bifocals…

Yeah, there are other simple things in my life that make me smile, but those two NEVER fail.  Ever.  In fact, all I can do is count the minutes – 135 or so – until I get to go home and get greeted as though I’m the most important thing in their worlds too!

Happy little friday!  This has been a busy week, and I’m looking forward to down time, but more about that tomorrow.  In the meantime, Happy Dogs on Thursday!

Fabulous photo! I love it. Yea – mine don’t know they aren’t sight hounds either. And for the record – I’m pretty sure you are the most important thing in their worlds. g

    Precious!!! Love it!

  3. In my ggirls opinion, Not only am I the most important thing in their world, but they say they had darn well better be the most important thing in mine! Right up until the cat, squirrel, bird, etc. enters their senses….right? Great pic of Sissy.

Don’t you love the greeting? Even if I’ve only walked out to the mailbox, they greet me as if I’ve been gone for months and they’re so happy I got home safely.

Great photo! There’s nothing like coming home and having someone jump up and down with excitement to see you!

My 4 says…awww, what a cute mommy dog and baby dog. what’s their names?

Such precious things to be thankful for.

    Sweet precious babies!

Thor had better be a sight hound, because I’m pretty sure his sniffer is broken. He can’t find food unless he sees it. And of course the girls make you smile; what’s better in life than the unbridled love of a pet?

Cute picture! Coming home to Sydney’s happy dance can turn a bad day around or make a good day even better.

Beautiful pups! And I know what you mean it is the greatest feeling to be welcomed home by the hounds…my husband always says to them “how come you don’t do that when I come home”, they would if he carried treats in his pockets, like I do in my purse, lol!

Dogs. They greet you as if you’ve been gone for days when in fact it’s only been an hour. Can’t be beat:). Love the picture.

The dogs are so cute, if you need another one we have one who just stole fried chicken from my husband’s dinner plate.
