Office Beautification

Belated happy dogs on thursday, little friday and thankful thursday to you!

The Queen on her unadorned office throne

This is my new favorite photo of the DIVA.  She looks very bassettitudish, doesn’t she?  I think she’s sulking because there are no humans padding her throne for her.

The girls also did a quick post of their own, documenting that MJ spoils them ROTTEN.

Gretchen Greer on her perch

MJ is fascinated by Gretchen’s desire to perch behind me, on top of my lumbar support.  It’s cute, and when it isn’t nearly 70 degrees outside, I like my little snuggler helping me at work.

If it wasn’t Thursday and the princesses weren’t ruling the office, you would have gotten a photo of my feet in sandals.   It’s a beautiful, spring-like day, and I’ve had my first “warm weather” pedicure.  It’s ridiculous how happy having my toes out makes me, but the flip side of that coin is that come September, I’ll be itching for cold day so I can wear my handknit socks.

Any seasonal milestones you wait for with baited breath?

The disappearing post is back! 🙂 Cute pics… love those girls. Sandals? I’m jealous! I hear its 50 something out here today, but I wouldn’t know… stuck in an office.

It’s 65 here today. Last week at this time it was below freezing.

Blogger friends in England and Scotland have been sending me pictures of spring; flowers blooming, trees budding and newborn lambs frolicking. I can’t wait to see those things for myself.

Right now I’m seeing a lot of shaggy, muddy dogs who are having a geat time playing in the sunshine. That’s a good thing.

I see that Gg likes to help out, just like Fred does. She is a tad more petite than Fred though! he loves to perch behind me on the chair.
Living in a place with four solid seasons makes me look forward to ALL of them. The true sign of spring though that makes me insanely giddy? The flocks of hundreds (thousands?) of Snow Geese that fly over every March. They are the true sign that winter is on it’s way out, and we made it through another brutal North Country winter!! I love those geese!

  5. while I love having the windows open (60;s here) in the fall I can’t wait to get out my winter coat, I love the first fresh tomato or ear of corn, but a great bowl of hot soup in autumn with fresh baked bread is so special, and I can’t wait for Thanksgiving so I can decorate for Christmas but am so happy when New Years comes so I can take it all down!!! Enigma thy name is Grace!

  6. Interesting question…I guess I’m waiting for the flowers to bloom or the trees to leaf out. Oh! The backyard has some purple iris and the front yard now has one whole daffy blooming! Maybe what I’m waiting for is the roses?

I’m so jealous of your little snugger ~ what a delicious feeling to have Gretchen perched in your chair with you :))))

Seasonal milestones? How about planting an herb garden. I did that a week ago and last night happily went outside to snip some mint for my lamb dinner ONLY to find some critter had eaten it all up – LOL

Adorable pictures of the girls. It’s nice that they can come in to the office with you.

Seasonal milestones? How about if the snow melts? Well, at least we don’t have the snowpack that Mango and Nichole have!

Great pictures of the fur-girls! I love it when the trees start getting leaves again in the spring.

  12. Katie says:

You had on SANDALS yesterday? Good gracious! I will be in handknit socks for MONTHS still. Today we have a loverly mix of rain and freezing rain, with a prediction of snow just to top it all off. SO JEALOUS! : (

  13. Bubblesknits says:

I look forward to my windows being open again. In fact, I have my back door open as we speak and the kitties are out on the porch sunning themselves. : )

  14. Kathy says:

It was warm and then…the wind blew. It’s cold again and we actually had flurries with the sun shining. Go figure.
If we can’t get another good snowstorm then it’s time for warm weather. Just my wee opinion of course 😉

Fabulous pictures of all three of you! Tell Miss Sissy that everyone here is winking right back at her. Such sweet girls you have… Give them belly rubs and kisses from me!

  16. Louise says:

Those girls of yours are mighty precious!

Weather alert: Woke up to yet another blanket of snow this morning…By the time it stops snowing, my feet will have grown and I’ll need new ones!!!

  17. Anita says:

I’ve been wearing my flip flops the past couple of days too! 🙂 Back to socks tomorrow though. Cute photos, & the girls certainly beautify the office.
